Room for real outdoor living
Davie still feels like old Florida. Acre lots, horses, and ranch houses with deep porches. When you have land, you use it. A cover makes the yard livable year-round.
Freestanding covers are the star here. A roof over the outdoor kitchen. A roof by the barn for tacking up in the shade. A roof over the fire pit for rainy-season cookouts.
Ranch homes often have long, low rooflines. Tying a cover into them takes care and the right flashing. We have done it many times and keep the lines clean.
Dust and oak leaves are the local maintenance story. Live oaks drop leaves and pollen that clog gutters. Plan on a seasonal gutter check.
What to plan for in Davie
Well water is common west of town. It can stain light-colored covers with iron. We talk through finish choices so your cover stays bright.
Animals change the plan. Goats rub on posts. Horses lean on everything. We can set posts and pick materials with your animals in mind.
